Working principle of fully automatic glass bottle empty bottle unloading machine
Date: 2025-07-10Read: 4
The fully automatic glass bottle empty bottle unloading machine is a key equipment used in beverage, beer, seasoning and other production lines to automatically unload stacked empty bottles from trays or pallets and transport them to the cleaning/filling process. Its working principle can be divided into the following core processes:
1. Equipment composition
Stacking conveyor system: Conveyor belts or chains transport stacked boards to the unloading station.
Positioning device: photoelectric sensors or mechanical limiters ensure accurate docking of pallets.
Lifting mechanism: a hydraulic or servo motor-driven lifting platform that controls the height of the pallet.
Bottle picking/separating mechanism: a robotic arm, suction cup group or fork device used for separating and grasping bottles.
Conveyor line: Transport the unloaded empty bottles to the next stage (such as a bottle washing machine).
2. Workflow (taking suction cup unloading machine as an example)
Step 1: Positioning and height adjustment of pallets
The forklift places the stack of empty bottles on the conveyor line and transports them to the unloading area.
The photoelectric sensor detects the position of the pallet, and the lifting platform automatically adjusts the height to keep the topmost bottle in the gripping position.
Step 2: Layered Separation
Layered mechanisms (such as forks or airflow devices) are inserted between bottle layers to separate the topmost bottle from the lower layer, avoiding grabbing multiple layers at once.
The negative pressure suction cup group descends and adheres to the bottle mouth of the upper layer bottle (the suction cup material needs to be anti slip and wear-resistant).
Step 3: Bottle transfer
The suction cup group lifts the entire layer of bottles vertically and then moves horizontally above the conveyor line.
The suction cup releases negative pressure, and the bottle is smoothly placed on the conveyor belt or bottle guide plate (with cushioning design to prevent tipping).
Step 4: Cycle unloading
Raise the lifting platform one level and repeat the above steps until all the bottles on the pallet are unloaded.
Empty pallets are removed through the conveyor line, and new pallets automatically enter.
