Precautions for safe use of multifunctional vegetable slicer
When using a multifunctional vegetable slicer, please always remember the principle of "safety first". Following the following precautions can minimize risks and make kitchen work more efficient.
1、 Safety first principle
Read the instruction manual: Before using any new machine, be sure to carefully and completely read the product manual. Familiar with each component, function, and specific safety warning.
Power off operation: When installing, disassembling, cleaning, or clearing blockages, it is necessary to ensure that the machine is completely powered off (unplug the power plug), and do not insert hands or other tools into the feeding port or blade area while powered on.
Use a pusher: Regardless of the type of food being processed, the randomly provided pusher (pusher rod) must be used. It is strictly prohibited to press the ingredients directly with your hands, as this is the most critical way to prevent cutting injuries.
Keep children away: Place the vegetable slicer out of reach of children and strictly prohibit children from playing nearby during use.
2、 Preparation before use
Check the machine: Confirm that the power cord and plug are not damaged; Check if the blade is securely installed and not loose; Ensure that all components (such as the material cylinder and lid) are correctly positioned.
Food processing:
Suitable size: Cut oversized ingredients (such as whole potatoes or long cucumbers) into chunks that can be easily placed in the feeding port.
Remove hard objects: Ensure that there are no bones, metals, plastics, stones, or hard fruit pits in the ingredients, which can seriously damage sharp blades.
Stability: Ensure that the machine is placed on a stable and dry surface, avoiding sliding during operation.
3、 In use operation
Constant speed propulsion: When using a thruster, apply force evenly and steadily, and do not apply too much force or press down quickly. When encountering resistance, stop immediately and check for blockage after cutting off the power.
Do not process unsuitable ingredients: Avoid processing ingredients that are too soft, have too much fiber, or have stickiness (such as dough, rice cake, chive leaves, overripe bananas), as they can easily entangle the knife shaft or block the discharge port.
Avoid idling: Try not to let the machine idle for a long time without food ingredients, as this will increase the burden on the motor and unnecessary wear of the blades.
Timely cleaning: If a large amount of food is processed at once, it is recommended to do it in batches to avoid filling the discharge port, which may affect the cutting effect and machine heat dissipation.
4、 Cleaning and maintenance after use
Completely power off: Before cleaning, be sure to unplug the power plug.
Handle blades with care: Be extremely careful when disassembling blades, preferably wearing gloves. It is recommended to use tools such as brushes to assist in cleaning and avoid direct contact with the blade by hand.
Timely cleaning: Clean immediately after use to prevent food residue from drying up and sticking, making it difficult to clean. Most components can be cleaned with clean water and neutral detergent.
Avoid soaking the motor body: The motor body of the machine must not be soaked in water or directly rinsed with water, only wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Thoroughly dry: All cleaned components must be wiped dry with a dry cloth or naturally air dried before assembly and storage to prevent rust and bacterial growth.
Proper storage: Place the machine and all accessories (especially sharp blades) in a dry, out of reach place for children. It is recommended to store the blades separately or cover them with a protective cover.
