Product Introduction
A switching valve (forced valve) is a pneumatic switching valve installed at the hot end of a switching heat exchanger (or accumulator). The switch of the switching valve is controlled by compressed air through a signal from the solenoid valve. According to their different roles in the process, there are air and sewage nitrogen switching valves, pure nitrogen suppression valves, sewage nitrogen three-way valves, etc. There are two types of structures: vertical and horizontal. Vertical switching valves can be divided into two types: gas open and gas closed. Due to the fact that the action of the switching valve is controlled by an electromagnetic valve, in addition to selecting the air open or air closed type to prevent harm caused by gas source failure, attention should also be paid to the coordination between the status of the electromagnetic valve and the switching valve, so as not to endanger equipment safety in the event of power failure. The following are respectively explained:
1. Sewage nitrogen switching valve. When the four-way solenoid valve is powered, the switching valve closes. When the power is lost, open the switching valve. And when the power supply loses power or the gas source loses pressure, it can also be opened by its own weight. This ensures that in the event of a malfunction, the gas in the upper tower can be released through the cold storage device without causing overpressure.
2. Air switching valve. When the four-way solenoid valve is powered, the switching valve opens. When power is lost, the switching valve closes. When the control power fails and loses power, the switching valve closes; When the control gas source fails and loses pressure, the switching valve closes by its own weight to ensure that the raw air does not enter the air separation tower in case of failure.
3. Sewage nitrogen (pure nitrogen) three-way switching valve. The four-way solenoid valve is powered, and the three-way switching valve is in the discharge position; The four-way solenoid valve loses power, and the three-way switching valve is in the vent position. When the power fails and loses power, the three-way switching valve is in the vent position; When the gas source fails and loses pressure, the three-way switching valve can be in the venting position by its own weight.
A vacuum valve refers to a valve with a working pressure lower than the standard atmospheric pressure.
Two common connection forms
Flexible flange connection
This is a commonly used connection form in valves. According to the shape of the joint surface, it can be divided into the following types:
1) Smooth type: Used for valves with low pressure. Processing is relatively convenient.
2) Concave convex type: With high working pressure, medium hard gaskets can be used.
3) Mortise and tenon type: It can use gaskets with large plastic deformation, which are widely used in corrosive media and have good sealing effect.
4) Trapezoidal groove type: using elliptical metal rings as gaskets, used for valves with working pressure ≥ 64 kg/cm2 or high-temperature valves.
5) Lens type: The gasket is in the shape of a lens and made of metal. Used for high-pressure valves or high-temperature valves with a working pressure of ≥ 100 kg/cm2.
6) O-ring type: This is a relatively new form of flange connection that has developed with the emergence of various rubber O-rings. It is more reliable in terms of sealing effect than general flat washers.
threaded connection
This is a simple connection method commonly used for small valves. There are two situations:
1) Direct sealing: The internal and external threads provide a direct sealing effect. To ensure that there is no leakage at the connection, lead oil, hemp, and polytetrafluoroethylene tape are often used for filling; Among them, polytetrafluoroethylene raw material tape is becoming increasingly widely used; This material has good corrosion resistance, sealing effect, and is easy to use and store. When disassembling, it can be completely removed because it is a non stick thin film, much more than lead oil and hemp.
2) Indirect sealing: The force of tightening the thread is transmitted to the gasket between two planes, allowing the gasket to provide a sealing effect.
