The core processing flow of extrusion puffing meal replacement powder equipment includes five steps: raw material pretreatment, extrusion puffing, drying and cooling, crushing and mixing, and finished product packaging. The specific steps are as follows:

Raw material pretreatment: According to the formula of meal replacement powder (such as grain powder, protein powder, dietary fiber powder, vitamin mineral premix, etc.), each raw material is accurately weighed by an ingredient scale and sent to a mixer for thorough mixing to ensure uniform composition; If the moisture content of the raw material is too high (>15%), it needs to be reduced to the appropriate moisture level (10% -14%) through a dryer to avoid subsequent puffing and clumping.
2. Extrusion puffing: The mixed raw materials are fed into a twin-screw extrusion puffing machine. Under high temperature (120 ℃ -180 ℃), high pressure (2-8MPa), and screw shear, the starch gelatinization and protein denaturation of the raw materials occur. At the same time, the internal moisture vaporizes instantly to form a porous structure, which is then extruded into granular or strip-shaped semi-finished products through a specific mold. After extrusion, the semi-finished products are cut into uniform lengths by a cutting knife.
3. Drying and cooling: The puffed semi-finished product enters the mesh belt dryer and is dried at a temperature of 60 ℃ -80 ℃ to reduce the moisture content to 5% -8% (in accordance with the storage requirements for meal replacement powder); After drying, it is sent to the cooling machine and quickly cooled to room temperature by cold air to prevent semi-finished products from clumping or deteriorating due to waste heat.
4. Crushing and mixing: After cooling, the puffed semi-finished product is sent to the crusher and crushed into a powder with 80-120 mesh (fineness adjusted according to the demand for meal replacement powder); If it is necessary to further improve the uniformity, the crushed powder can be sent to the mixer again, and a small amount of auxiliary materials (such as sweeteners and essence) can be added for mixing to ensure the consistency of taste and flavor.
5. Finished product packaging: The crushed and mixed meal replacement powder is fed into an automatic packaging machine through a hoist, and is packaged with nitrogen or vacuum (to prevent oxidation and extend shelf life) according to specifications (such as 20g/bag, 500g/can). Finally, it is tested by a metal detector to remove impurities from the finished product and ensure that the quality meets standards.
