The braised pot is a key equipment for catering and food processing, and its correct installation directly affects the safety of use, operational efficiency, and equipment lifespan. To ensure a smooth and safe installation, please follow the following precautions.
1、 Core Security Principles
Professional installation: It is strongly recommended to install it by qualified professionals or under the technical guidance of our factory.
Reading manual: Before installation, be sure to carefully read the "User Manual" and "Installation Manual" that come with the device.
Qualification verification: If it is a pressurized (pressure vessel) or high-power electric heating equipment, the installation personnel must have the corresponding operating qualifications, and the equipment itself must have a special equipment manufacturing license and product qualification certificate.
2、 Installation environment and foundation preparation
Venue selection:
Choose a location with good ventilation and ample space for easy operation, maintenance, and heat dissipation.
Stay away from flammable, explosive materials and humid environments.
Ensure that the ground is flat, sturdy, and able to withstand the weight of the equipment when fully loaded (including the pot, brine, and ingredients).
Space reservation:
There should be no less than 80cm of operating and maintenance space around the pot body.
Reserve sufficient space above for feeding, mixing, and opening and closing the pot lid.
Foundation and Drainage:
The equipment should be placed steadily and fixed with anchor bolts if necessary to prevent displacement.
Ensure that there is a smooth floor drain or drainage ditch near the equipment drainage outlet, and the pipeline connection should be sealed to prevent blockage and odor.
3、 Energy Connection (Key Steps)
A. Gas type braised pot
Pipeline inspection: Confirm that the specifications and pressure of the gas supply pipeline meet the equipment requirements. The pipeline must be a metal hard pipe (such as galvanized pipe), and it is strictly prohibited to use rubber hoses for direct long-distance connections.
Interface sealing: Use specialized gas sealing tape or raw material tape to ensure that all interfaces are tight and leak free.
Leakage detection: After connection, all interfaces must be checked for leaks with soapy water to confirm that no bubbles are generated before use.
Safety device: It is necessary to install a gas leak alarm and an automatic shut-off valve.
B. Electric heating type braised pot
Power matching: Check the rated voltage (such as 380V) and power of the equipment, ensure that the wire diameter and capacity of the circuit breaker meet the requirements, and leave sufficient margin.
Independent dedicated line: It must be led separately from the distribution box, using waterproof and high-temperature resistant cables, and equipped with independent leakage protectors.
Grounding protection: Ensure that the equipment grounding wire is firm and reliable, and the grounding resistance meets national standards to prevent electric shock.
Professional wiring: All electrical wiring must be completed by certified electricians and ensure that the wiring terminals are securely fastened.
C. Steam type braised pot
Pipeline pressure: Steam pipelines and valves must be able to withstand working pressure, and pressure reducing valves and pressure gauges must be installed.
Drainage device: Install a suitable drain valve at the end of the steam pipeline to promptly discharge condensed water.
Safety protection: Steam pipelines need to be insulated and marked with clear warning signs to prevent burns.
4、 Equipment positioning and inspection
Horizontal calibration: Use a level to calibrate the pot body, ensuring that it is placed horizontally, especially for models with tilting devices, to avoid affecting tilting and operational stability.
Component inspection: After opening the box, check whether all components such as the pot body, mixer, valves, instruments, etc. are complete and intact, and whether there is any transportation damage.
Sealing inspection: Check whether the sealing ring between the pot cover and the pot body is intact, whether the installation is flat, and ensure the sealing.
Instrument zeroing: Check whether the pointers of pressure gauges, thermometers, and other instruments are zeroed and whether the response is sensitive.
5、 Debugging and trial operation
No load test run: Before adding water and materials, conduct a no-load test run first. Check if the mixer (if any) is running smoothly and without any abnormal noise; Check whether the overturning, lifting (if any) mechanism is flexible; Check if all valve switches are smooth and leak free.
Loading trial run: Add about one-third of the capacity of clean water for heating test. Observe whether the heating rate is normal, whether the instrument display is accurate, whether the insulation performance is good, and whether there are leaks in various places.
Safety valve testing: For pressure vessels, it is necessary to test whether the safety valve can trip and reseat normally under the set pressure. Do not adjust or block the safety valve without authorization.
