A stirring granulator is a highly efficient equipment commonly used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and food that combines mixing and granulation functions. It is mainly used to mix powder materials with binders to produce uniform particles.
The stirring granulatorworkWorking principle
Mixing stage: The powder material is thoroughly mixed with a binder (such as water, ethanol, solution, etc.) using a stirring blade to form a soft material.
Granulation stage: While stirring, the cutting blade rotates at high speed to cut the soft material into small particles, forming uniform wet particles through the combined action of mechanical force and adhesive.
Drying stage (some models): Some equipment has a drying function, which dries wet particles through hot air or vacuum.
2. Main structural components
Stirring blade: responsible for mixing materials, usually designed in a spiral or paddle style.
Cutting knife: high-speed rotation cuts soft materials into particles, controlling particle size.
Container (pot body): Made of stainless steel, corrosion-resistant, and can be operated in a sealed manner.
Drive system: The motor controls the mixing and cutting speed.
Control system: Operated by PLC or touch screen, adjustable parameters such as speed, time, temperature, etc.
Auxiliary systems: such as spray devices (adding adhesives), dust removal devices, etc.
3. Main types
Wet mixing granulator: Traditional type, requiring an additional adhesive, suitable for materials sensitive to humidity.
Dry granulation machine: directly pelletized by mechanical pressure, without the need for adhesives, suitable for heat sensitive materials.
Fluidized bed granulator: combine spray drying technology to complete mixing, granulation and drying in one step.
High speed shearing granulator: With stronger shearing force and more uniform particles, it is suitable for high-density particles.
