The full name of a two-dimensional mixer is a two-dimensional motion mixer. As the name suggests, it refers to a mixer in which the drum can move in two directions simultaneously. The two directions of motion are the rotation of the drum, which swings with the swing frame. The mixed materials undergo left and right back and forth mixing movements with the rotation, flipping, and mixing of the drum, while also swinging with the drum. Under the combined action of these two movements, the materials are fully mixed in a short period of time.
It consists of three main parts: drum, swing frame, and machine frame. The drum is mounted on the swing frame, supported by four rollers and axially positioned by two gear wheels. Among the four supporting rollers, two transmission wheels are dragged by the rotating power system to rotate the drum. The swing frame is driven by a set of crank swing rod mechanisms, which are mounted on the frame. The swing frame is supported on the frame by bearing components, allowing the rotating drum to participate in swinging while rotating, allowing the materials in the drum to be fully mixed.

The two-dimensional drum mixer moves in two directions, X and Y, while the three-dimensional mixer moves in three axes, XYZ. Widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food, feed, pesticides, etc., especially suitable for mixing various solid materials with large tonnage. The mixing cylinder of the two-dimensional mixer rotates while also participating in swinging, allowing the materials in the cylinder to be fully mixed, making the machine have the characteristics of rapid mixing, large mixing volume, and convenient discharge.
Characteristics of the two-dimensional drum mixer: The swinging mechanism is located inside the lower frame, and the transmission adopts a cycloidal pinwheel reducer or worm gear reducer. During operation, the electric motor is transmitted to the reducer through a pulley or sprocket, and then the upper frame is shaken through a double link assembly to make the material cylinder swing at a certain angle. Compared with other manufacturers' structures, this structure ensures that there is no material accumulation at the bottom of the equipment base, no pollution, easy flushing, and truly meets GMP requirements.
During operation, under the dual action of the rotating mechanism and the swinging mechanism, the loading cylinder rotates while also undergoing swinging motion, allowing the materials inside the cylinder to be fully mixed.
