5000kg/h lithium iron phosphate wastewater spray dryer

1. Core design parameters

Large scale continuous processing: 10-50 tons of wastewater per day (evaporation capacity 2-10 tons of water per hour)

Hot air temperature inlet: 250~300 ℃ (balancing drying efficiency and LiFePO ₄ stability)

Export: 90~110 ℃ (anti sticking wall)

Atomization system high-pressure nozzle (30-40 MPa)+dual fluid design (anti clogging)

Or centrifugal atomization (18000-22000 rpm)

Drying tower size with a diameter of 4-6 m and a height of 12-20 m (large aspect ratio ensures sufficient drying)

Material: Tower body/atomizer: 316L stainless steel+PTFE lining

Hot air duct: titanium alloy (resistant to Cl ⁻ corrosion)

Heat source natural gas direct combustion (low sulfur)+waste heat recovery system (thermal efficiency ≥ 70%)

Third level treatment of dust removal system: cyclone separation+bag dust removal+wet scrubbing (exhaust particulate matter<20 mg/m ³, NH3/HCl<50 mg/m ³)

Selection of atomization method:

High pressure nozzle: suitable for high viscosity or particle containing wastewater.

Centrifugal atomization: large processing capacity, but sensitive to suspended particle size.

Temperature control:

Avoid excessive temperature causing the decomposition of lithium iron phosphate (generally ≤ 300 ℃).

Low temperature spray drying (such as 150~200 ℃) can reduce energy consumption, but it needs to extend the residence time.

Anti clogging design: Wastewater pretreatment (filtration, flocculation) prevents atomizer clogging.

Exhaust gas treatment: equipped with bag filter and wet scrubber to remove particulate matter and acidic gases (such as HCl, NH3).

Working principle of spray dryer

Atomization: Wastewater is dispersed into tiny droplets through high-pressure nozzles, centrifugal discs, or ultrasonic atomizers.

Hot air contact: High temperature hot air (200~500 ℃) is mixed with atomized droplets in the drying tower, and the moisture evaporates rapidly.

Dry product: forms a dry solid powder (containing lithium, iron, phosphate, etc.), and the exhaust gas is discharged after dust removal.
