1. The device cannot start or suddenly freezes when running
Possible cause ①: Power or emergency stop issues
Solution: Check if the main power supply is connected, if the emergency stop switch on the equipment door is pressed, and ensure that all safety interlock devices have been reset.
Possible reason 2: There are hard objects or materials severely compacted inside the cavity
Solution: Power off immediately! Then try manual turning (rotating the spindle by hand). If it cannot be rotated, it indicates that there is a hard object or material board in the cavity that is too hard. Open the machine cavity, remove hard objects or crush the compacted material before trying again.
Possible cause ③: Motor or transmission component malfunction
Solution: If the manual turning is flexible but still unable to start, it may be an electrical fault and you need to contact an electrician or manufacturer.
2. Abnormal discharge particles (excessive powder, too long, uneven)
Possible cause ①: Screen mesh problem (wear, blockage, or incorrect specifications)
terms of settlement:
Excessive powder: Check if the screen mesh is damaged. Damaged screens cannot be effectively cut, which can increase the powder yield and require immediate replacement.
Particles that are too long/uneven: Check if the sieve mesh is blocked and thoroughly clean it with a copper brush or specialized tool. Ensure that the selected mesh aperture meets the process requirements.
Possible reason 2: Mismatch between tool speed and material
terms of settlement:
Excessive powder: It may be due to the blade speed being too fast, causing excessive cutting and impact on the material. Reduce the blade speed appropriately.
Particles that are too long and have low yield: It may be due to slow cutting speed, which makes it difficult to effectively shear materials. Therefore, it is advisable to increase the cutting speed appropriately.
Possible reason ③: Poor material condition
Solution: Excessive humidity of the material can easily clog the sieve and form long strips; If the humidity is too low, the powder will increase. It is necessary to strictly control the viscosity and humidity of the material to ensure that it is within the optimal range for granulation.
3. Significant decrease in production
Possible reason ①: Screen blockage
Solution: This is the most common reason. Immediately stop the machine, thoroughly clean the sieve, and ensure that all holes are unobstructed.
Possible cause 2: Tool wear
Solution: Check the wear of the rotating scraper. Severely worn blades cannot effectively press the material towards the sieve, resulting in a decrease in production. It is necessary to grind or replace the blades with new ones.
Possible reason ③: Changes in material properties
Solution: Check if the viscosity of this batch of materials is greater than before? Is the humidity higher? Adjust material formulas or process parameters.
