The installation of metal detectors is not only a physical process of fixing the equipment on the production line, but also a system engineering involving environmental assessment, mechanical integration, and electrical connection. Please be sure to follow the following steps for installation precautions and taboos
Taboo: Putting it into use without calibration: This is the most common mistake. Equipment without calibration for specific products either has a high rate of missed detections or frequent false alarms.
Taboo: Installation in a vibrating environment: Strong vibrations may be mistaken by sensors as metal signals.
Taboo: Ignoring product effects: For damp and salty products, equipment with "product effect compensation" function must be used and finely calibrated.
Regular review: Even after installation and debugging are completed, testing blocks should be used at regular intervals (such as at the beginning of each shift or every 4 hours) to verify whether the equipment is working properly.
